The redevelopment of Onslow Hospital Health Service to efficiently meet the needs of the growing Onslow community, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The building has been placed on the northern side of the existing hospital, sited on crest of a dune overlooking the town and bay beyond.

This allows the new building to take full advantage of this prominent site, while ensuring that the existing hospital remained fully operational during construction of the new facility.

The curved roof is draped over the southern edge of the building is reminiscent of a traditional bower shelter, with the down-turn creating a surface for stencils of the hand prints provided by the community.

This project was completed as a joint venture with Hames Sharley Pty Ltd.
